Thank you for choosing Car Detailers Perth. We strive to provide high-quality mobile detailing services with convenience, professionalism, and care. We are fully insured for general liability, including cover for property damage, vehicle damage, and personal injury. These Terms & Conditions help outline our policies to protect both you as the client and us as the service provider.
By booking any service with Car Detailers Perth, you agree to the following terms:
Booking, Deposits & Payments
We ask that you respect our time and provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Upfront deposits required for specific services are non-refundable.
Payment is due within 14 days of the service appointment.
We accept:
– Card payments (EFTPOS) tap in person, which will incur a 1.6% processing surcharge
– Bank transfer (EFT) which incur no surcharge
– Cash in hand which we do not carry change
After all appointments we will email an invoice with EFT payment details included.
Arrival, Delays & Access
– We are based in Wembley 6014 and service Perth city and surrounding suburbs.
– Due to traffic, weather, or job delays, our arrival times may shift. You will be notified of any delays.
– We require access to your vehicle keys in order to complete the service thoroughly and move the vehicle if needed.
– Please ensure easy access to a working water tap and power outlet. If unavailable, let us know before the appointment.
Vehicle Preparation & Inspection
– Please remove all personal items and excess rubbish before our arrival.
– Child seats must be removed before service unless child seat clean fee is paid for. We will not uninstall or reinstall them otherwise.
– Heavily soiled interiors (e.g. pet hair, stains, odours) must be declared beforehand and may incur extra fees at $100/hour.
Service Scope & Limitations
– While we aim for outstanding results, some stains, odours, pet hair, and embedded grime may not be fully removable.
– We are not responsible for pre-existing damage including faded buttons, cracked plastics, oxidised paint, or worn trim that may worsen during cleaning.
– Baked-on brake dust, deep water spots, bug etching, or sap may not be completely removable.
– Customers refusing additional recommended services for neglected or severe conditions may void our service guarantee.
Hazardous Materials & Refusal of Service
– We reserve the right to refuse service if biohazards (e.g. urine, vomit, mould, etc.) are discovered without prior disclosure.
– If found during inspection, a partial fee may be charged without full service completion.
Photos, Videos & Marketing
– By booking, you give us permission to capture photos and videos of your vehicle before and after service for marketing or training purposes.
– We reserve the right post identifiable customer details (e.g. license plates, faces, or names) unless specifically requested.
Satisfaction Guarantee & Complaints
– If you’re not satisfied with any part of the service, please notify us within 24 hours of completion.
– We may offer to redo the affected area or issue a partial refund at our discretion.
– If a redo is refused, refunds are capped at 20% of the service value.
– Any unauthorised cleaning or modifications post-service void any eligibility for redos or refunds.
General Safety & Conduct
– For safety, please keep a distance of at least 2 metres from our work area.
– We reserve the right to decline service to any customer who acts abusively, unreasonably, or violates these terms.
Disclaimer & Liability
We take every precaution to ensure your vehicle is treated with care and respect. However, Car Detailers Perth is not liable for any pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues that may arise during or after service due to:
– Age or condition of the vehicle
– Fragile or deteriorated surfaces (e.g. oxidised paint, cracked trims, faded buttons)
– Aftermarket modifications (e.g. wraps, resprays, tints, coatings)
– Improper prior repairs or installations
We are also not responsible for any damage caused by water ingress, electrical malfunction, or cosmetic defects that were not visible or disclosed during the pre-inspection.
By booking, you acknowledge that detailing services carry some risk, and you accept responsibility for any potential outcomes where the risk has been explained or is reasonably expected given the condition of the vehicle.
Ceramic Coating Package Terms & Warranty
Ceramic Coating Package
Our ceramic coating packages include extensive paint preparation to ensure the coating bonds correctly. While every effort is made to achieve the highest possible finish, ceramic coatings do not permanently prevent scratches, stone chips, swirl marks, water spotting, bird droppings, chemical damage, or other environmental damage.
The final appearance of the vehicle will also depend on the condition of the paint prior to service. Deep scratches, rock chips, etched water spots, paint defects, and imperfections that cannot be safely corrected may remain visible after the service.
Curing Period
The coating requires time to fully cure after application.
To achieve the best possible performance, the customer agrees to:
- Avoid washing the vehicle for at least 7 days unless otherwise advised.
- Avoid abrasive chemicals or automatic brush car washes.
- Avoid intentionally exposing the vehicle to harsh chemicals during the curing period.
- Follow the aftercare instructions provided after the service.
Where possible, customers should also minimise exposure to heavy rain during the initial curing period. If unexpected weather occurs, please contact us and we will advise if any action is required.
Ceramic Coating Package Warranty
Our 4-Year Ceramic Coating package includes a service warranty for your peace of mind.
If the vehicle is maintained in accordance with our aftercare instructions and the coating fails to perform as intended within the 4-year warranty period due to a product or application issue, Car Detailers Perth will inspect the vehicle and, where appropriate, reapply the affected coating at no additional charge to ensure you receive the full benefit of your 4-year protection.
To remain eligible for the warranty, customers must:
- Follow the aftercare instructions provided after the service.
- Wash and maintain the vehicle using appropriate methods and products.
- Avoid automatic brush car washes and abrasive polishing or compounding.
- Contact Car Detailers Perth promptly if they believe the coating is no longer performing as intended.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper washing or maintenance.
- Failure to follow the supplied aftercare instructions.
- Scratches, swirl marks, stone chips, accidents, vandalism, misuse, or neglect.
- Bird droppings, tree sap, bug splatter, mineral deposits, chemical contamination, or environmental fallout that is not removed within a reasonable timeframe.
- Damage caused by third parties or by products or services not recommended by Car Detailers Perth.
- Vehicles that have been polished, compounded, or had the coating altered or removed by another person or business.
Any warranty assessment or repair must be carried out by Car Detailers Perth. If we determine that the coating has failed due to a product or application issue, we will reapply the affected coating free of charge so that you continue to receive the intended protection for the remainder of the 4-year warranty period.
Limitation of Liability
Ceramic coatings are a protective treatment, not an indestructible layer.
Car Detailers Perth does not guarantee that a ceramic coating will prevent all paint defects or remain in perfect cosmetic condition for the full warranty period under every usage condition.
Our liability is limited solely to repairing or reapplying the affected coating where we determine that a failure has resulted directly from our workmanship or application process.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or cosmetic damage arising from improper maintenance, environmental exposure, accidents, misuse, neglect, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Final Acknowledgement
Booking a service implies full agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
